Associate unlocked the cache in the model athlon II X3. Experiments were conducted on the model Athlon II X3 435. With the aid of  advanced clock calibration (ACC) function  associate converted this processor, in approximately a Phenom II X3 720: the cache volume in the third level is identical : 6 MB., and clock frequency in Athlon II X3 435 is 100 MHz higher. Besides the cache unlock , the Bios can automatically or selectively include the processor core  (with some limitations). However, according to the tests a noticeable speed boosts in games is noted , whereas the cache in the third level ensures increase inthe performance from 11% to 21%. Estimation was produced in crysis games (increase 11%), FarCry2 (13%), Tom clancys HAWX (14%), Street fighter IV (13%), Left 4 Dead (20%), Unreal tournament 3 (21%) and Resident evil 5 (18%).
