About one month remain to the announcement of first products on base of atom processors new generation, known to us under the code name Pineview. Although Intel asserts that the license for FSB available for NVIDIA does not allow to release chipset for Intel processors with the built-in memory controller  , NVIDIA is going to propose the platform ION 2, which supports the processors pineview. The latter, let us recall, not only have the built-in memory controller  , but also the built-in graphic core. Associate with the reference to computer producers  , acer company intends to actively order NVIDIA chipset, which form part of  ION 2 platform. Since the memory and graphic core controller are moved to the central processor, integrated chipset NVIDIA for the platform ION 2 will be more similar to the discrete graphical solution. Strictly speaking, precisely, the graphic possibilities of its chipset NVIDIA allows to support the competitive activity with Intel atom platform.
