The joint Chinese- American company cherrypal decided to release a netbook 7 inches screen with the operating system Windows CE, which cost only $99. Producer positions this product called africa as the global product, intended to solve problems with the computer literacy in developing countries.
The netbook is based on a certain processor with 400 MHz frequency. This processor with MIPS- II architecture is released on 18 m technology by the Chinese company ingenic semiconductor. Directly, the netbook cherrypal africa is equipped with 256 mb memory and 2 Gb solid-state memory for storing data. The architecture of processor allows to work also under the operating system linux.
Cherrypal also releases compact netbooks . For example, bing netbook is equipped with 13.3 inches screen, operating system Windows XP, processor Intel atom n280 with 1.6 GHz frequency, with giga-byte DDR-2, with HDD 160 Gb and Web- camera with 1.3 MP. This netbook cost $389. Related Products :
