In the middle of December we reported about MSI intentions to present the motherboard P55-GD85 on base of chipset Intel p55, which was equipped with discrete controllers USB 3.0 and SATA-600 from NEC companies production and Marvell respectively. Further introduction of the progressive interfaces according to the company representatives, will be achieved by the sufficiently restrained rates. MSI company officially presented P55-GD85 today. Two slots PCI express x16 work according to x16 + x8, ensuring the support of SLI and CrossFire technologies. NEC Controller ensures the support of two ports USB 3.0. Still six ports interface USB 2.0 support. Marvell controller ensures the support of two ports SATA-600, still seven ports correspond to SATA-300 standard, and one port on the rear panel allow to connect peripheral devices through eSATA interface without additional cable .  MSI separately emphasizes that PLX bridge is used as auxiliary , which does not limit the capacity of USB 3.0 and SATA-600 interfaces. MSI P55-GD85 is proposed in Europe for approximately 185 Euros.
