Almost a year ago Intel company  made a sensational statement of intention to transmit TSMC a part of intellectual property, necessary for developing processor production with the high integration degree,  using x86- compatible architecture Atom. It was assumed that TSMC will master the release of processors class atom with built in technology and other segments, where Intel production,  until now, did not have durable market positions. With the reference to new york times this week, the collaboration between Intel and TSMC in this direction is stopped due to the absence of demand.  Intel Representatives noted that company did not tear the partner relations. In the opinion of independent experts, Intel will require more time to the realization of this project.  Company attempts to penetrate in the market segment,  where ARM- architecture predominates. devices producers are not simply ready to be connected with Intel, when on the market, there is a selection among ARM- compatible processors.
