Associate shared information about the chipset AMD 880G, which the company prepares for release following the recently presented chipset 890GX.  This chipset will be the simplified version of its predecessor. Intended for motherboards, oriented to the wide circle of users, 880G can be used in the composition of HTPC, office and home PC. In the new chipset is used the same graphic core (RV620) that also was used in 890GX, but some of its possibilities are limited. In particular, there is no support of ATI crossFire. The integrated graphic processor ATI radeon HD 4250, which supports DirectX 10.1, has 40 stream processors and in addition to UMA can work with sidePort DDR3 memory. From the special IGP features, we note the HD- video decoding, HDMI support and multichannel (7.1) sound. Chipset allows one slot PCI-Express 2.0 x16, intended for discrete 3d- card, and the slots PCI-Express 2.0 x1 and x4. Related Products : | ||
