VIA technologies company declared about the beginning of controller VL800 deliveries: single-crystal solution, which allows to equip the system with PCI- E interface USB 3.0 high-speed ports.  VL800 Controller ensures the simultaneous connection of four devices with an USB 3.0 interface, i.e., it is twice more than existing solutions proposed today. The controller corresponds to the requirements of USB 3.0 Rev 1.0 specifications, and it is compatible with USB standards previous generations. Four ports support data transmission on superSpeed USB protocols, Hi-Speed (480 Mbit/s), Full-Speed (12 Mbit/s) and Low-Speed (1,5 Mbit/s). The first products, which use VL800 as an USB 3.0 controller, will appear on sale in the second-half of this year. Related Products : | ||
