According to associate, the specification of the 3d- card NVIDIA GeForce GTX460, whose release is expected during July, will differ a little from those published several days ago.
It was previously assumed that GPU GTX460 will have 240 core CUDA. According to new, data not confirmed, GTX460 will have 336 cores CUDA, and four blocks GPC (in GTX465 there are three). Let us recall, that in GTX465 configuration enter 352 cores CUDA. The memory bus will be equal to 192 bits. New 3d- card will obtain 768 MB GDDR5 memory (against 1 GB in NVIDIA GeForce GTX465). Thus, an increase in the GPU productivity will be compensated by a lower memory speed system.
TDP will be not 180 W, but it is less than 150 W. For comparison GTX465 has the TDP value up to 200 W. From one side, this simplifies requirements for the cooling system.
The announcement date of the fourth 3d- card NVIDIA with directX 11 support is 15 July.
