As it was expected, palit microsystems company released the overclocked version of the 3d- card GeForce GTX 460 with 1 GB memory. The list of presented card is: GTX 460 768MB, GTX 460 1GB sonic and GTX 460 1GB sonic platinum. Those cards support the technology diretcX 11, NVIDIA 3d Vision, PhysX and CUDA.  The series sonic unites the 3d- card palit, which work at high frequencies. The models, entering in the new series sonic platinum according to the company, will be characterized by an even larger performance. Thus, the core palit GTX 460 1GB sonic platinum is overclocked to 800 MHz (in the model GTX 460 1GB sonic frequency is equal to 700 MHz), and 1 GB memory GDDR5 operates at 2 GHz frequency ( same frequency for GTX 460 1GB sonic). In the cooling system Of palit GTX 460 1GB sonic platinum is used a fan with two ball bearings, which is characterized by the lowered noise level and increased service period.
