Motherboard producers according to associate, reduce the volumes of chipset orders. This is connected with the low demand for their production in China and Europe.
For the first time, the problem of low demand for motherboard producers encountered during April and May present year. Then it turned out that the need for their production was lower than the released volumes. In the following two months, June and July, the producers expect to make an accent at sale of production reserves, after lowering volumes of the produced motherboard. Situation can be preserved also in the third quarter 2010.
Producers, with this market situation, already reexamined their forecast relative to the devices volumes sale. Of course corrections are made to the smaller side: it is expected that the companies will succeed in selling less by 15-20% of production than it was assumed earlier.
Intel company also has to change its forecasts: reduction in the demand for chipset negatively will influence the volumes of supplied integrated microcircuits in the third quarter present year.
