Associates promised, that to the middle of July on the market will appear the motherboard MSI 870A Fuzion with lucid hydra chip, which will cost not more than $125. Yesterday MSI company presented P55A fuzion and 870A Fuzion.
Both motherboards use the microcircuit lucid logix LT22102, which unite any two video card with three-dimensional acceleration, even if they are based on AMD and NVIDIA chips respectively. Moreover, as the producer explains, MSI 870A Fuzion is the first motherboard for socket AM3 platform, which simultaneously exploits two two-chip video card NVIDIA. For the installation of video cards each of the motherboard has two slots PCI express x16. In the case with MSI 870A Fuzion they work at x16 + x4 speed, in case of MSI P55A fuzion - at the speed x16 + x16.
P55A fuzion is based on chipset Intel p55 it ensures the support of LGA 1156 processors. Both motherboards are equipped with two ports SATA-600 and two ports USB 3.0.
MSI 870A Fuzion instead of south bridge SB850 obtained cheaper SB710; therefore, it was necessary to forget about the native support of SATA-600 - this problem is solved using an integrated Marvell controller. The northern bridge AMD RX780 ensures the support of the processor socket AM3. European stores already assume the claim for new motherboards , and prices are distant from those promised: MSI P55A Fuzion cost from 190 to 220 Euros, MSI of 870A Fuzion - from 154 to 170 Euros.
