Based on the example of ION 2 platform it was obvious that Intel hold the development of NVIDIA chipset . Since Intel asserts that NVIDIA does not have the right to release chipset for processors of the first companies with the integrated memory controller , the chipset producer  was forced to introduce in the composition of  ION 2  platform discrete graphic core GT218, which will allow to compete with graphic core of atom processors. In winter this years NVIDIA management promised, that MCP89 will become the last chipset of company for  Intel processors, moreover the discussion dealt with LGA 775 platform, which was deprived from memory controller integrated in the processor. In the past month NVIDIA chapter acknowledged that the opposition from Intel seriously blew up the chipset business of company, and to the fourth quarter following year its scales will decrease by four. Now some motherboards producers report about NVIDIA intentions to release chipset for Intel platform  , which unites the functions of graphical solution and south bridge.  As show the first tests, the processors sandy bridge will obtain sufficiently productive graphic core in order to effectively fight with the discrete solutions of initial level.
