The California company displayLink, which developed interface for video transfer on USB cable , originally planned to demonstrate the devices models with USB 3.0 support on the January exhibition CES 2010. The new version of interface allow to transfer by USB channel HD video at a speed sufficient for comfortable playback.
The announcement of displayLink DL-3000 and DL-1000 controllers, supporting USB 3.0, took place only yesterday. These microcircuits derive HD image simultaneously to two monitors with the support of multichannel sound. The compatible devices can get power from the ports USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, monitor with the support of this interface generally can manage work without power cable, or obtain power from ethernet cable .
The controllers displayLink allow to release accessible adapters for the connection of monitors to USB port of desktop computer, nettop or notebook. From the side of monitor the cable can complete with joint , D -Sub, HDMI or DisplayPort port. Instead of USB 3.0 can be used gigabit net interface. Products on base of DL-3000 and DL-1000 controllers will appear on the market in the following half-year.
