The third quarter is traditionally considered as period of increase in the buyer activity on the computer market. Processors producers usually reduce prices of their production during August in order to stimulate September demand for computers and notebooks. According to Canaccord analysts , Intel company recently reduced the prices of processors atom and Core i3/5/7 by up to 50%, and chipset fell in price by 15%. It is considered that reduction in processors prices and chipset must warm up the interest of users in notebook. Reduction in the prices of atom processors is called to strengthen the positions of Intel platform in the fight with Apple iPad. Finally, reduction in the prices of components will help Intel and its partners to get rid of some of production reserves , which after the announcement Of sandy bridge will lose urgency.
