LG Company published financial report with the results of third quarter 2010.
In comparison with the previous three months summary income decreased by 11,9% : to 2,64 billion dollars. Operating profit was reduced by 250 million dollars. This sharp drop in incomes is explained by expenditures for the development of new devices and intensification of competitive activity with other producers. The results appear much more badly in comparison with analogous period 2009: a drop in the profit composes 31,9%.  The quantity of dispatched mobile devices decreased by 7% : 28 million and 400 thousand units. In the third quarter 2010 LG mobile production was less claimed on the markets OF USA and Asia, where the deliveries were reduced by 1%. Losses were partially compensated by increase in sales in South Korea (+17%), in the countries of Latin America (+9%), Russia and CIS (+3%). In fourth quarter 2010 mobile division expects a increase in profit to 13%, in essence connected with LG Optimus Q, LG optimus one and LG c900 quantum (Optimus 7Q). Related Products : | ||
