According to associate , Intel company finally plans to add USB 3.0 support in its new chipset .  Now for equipping the motherboard with USB 3.0 ports are used separate controllers, as a rule, two-port. Chipset for the processors Intel ivy bridge, known now under the arbitrary symbol panther point, will obtain four-port XHCI- compatible controller USB 3.0. Controller is coupled with two controllers EHCI USB 2.0, and it divides with them 14 ports USB, 4 of which will be, thus, compatible with the new specification version .  The commercial names of panther point realizations, oriented to different segments, will be P77 and H77. Concerning the processors ivy bridge, they are the processors sandy bridge, produced according to the thinner standards technical process 22 nm. It is expected that the company will present the platform Intel core third generation on the exhibition CES 2012. AMD hudson-D3 and Hudson-M3 will also include four ports USB 3.0.
