After promising to release solid-state disk with SATA-600 interface during September, plextor company made this only yesterday.
As it was assumed, that the SSD series M2S uses the controller marvell 88SS9174 server class, which ensures not only SATA-600 support, but also the transmission speed up to 480 Mbyte(s)/s on reading operations, and to 330 Mbyte(s)/s on writing operations . True, this is characteristic only for elder model , which has volume 256 Gb, whereas low-end SSD are satisfied by modest speed indices. Each SSD is equipped with buffer from DDR3 memory with 128 mb volume., it support TRIM command and its own technology plextor instant restore technology, which also follows the maintenance of speed for entire device operational , and the technology dynamic wear levelling follows the uniformity of solid-state memory. The SSD plextor of this series are supplied with the utility acronis true image - On sale in Europe the SSD plextor M2S will enter during March present year. | ||
