It was considered that the chipset series panther point, which will be coupled with 22 nm processors ivy bridge LGA 1155,  it will support four ports USB 3.0 and the ability to simultaneously work with three monitors against present two. If we considers that 22 nm processors ivy bridge under specific conditions can work in the sixth series chipset, then a stimuli for the purchase of motherboards on base of chipset series panther point is almost absent. Associates with reference to slide from intel roadmap proved that the processors ivy bridge will support PCI express 3.0, which will be used for the communication with discrete video card. It was considered that PCI express 3.0 support will propose only systems on base of chipset patsburg and processors LGA 2011. The memory controller will work with the dual-channel DDR 3-1600 memory, for some models the processors will be provided ECC support .
