The scientists of Lincoln university (New Zealand), with the participation of oncologic studies institute (Great Britain) created the largest in the world processor, used in medicine. Its sizes actually impress. According to the Lincoln's university, they are 12,8 square centimeters, which is approximately 200 times more than contemporary computer processor . Besides the creation of chip, serious task for engineers was its programming, which successfully managed the group of specialists under professor (Nigel allison).
Processing information, which enters with the inspection of patients with oncology, is the primary processor task. The images formed by it very accurately follow the influence of radiotherapy on the focuies of disease and carry out early diagnostics. The scientists of Lincoln's university are assured that the equipment, which uses similar processors, is capable of considerably facilitating the labor of doctor- oncologists, and also, therefore, the treatment of patients, and they continue to be occupied by the disclosure of their invention potential.
