At the end of April ARM chapter noted that the company takes efforts for the attraction of AMD in the numbers of its supporters. John Taylor in interview stated that the company intends to develop its solutions for tablet computers around the x86- compatible platform, but with the active use of hybrid processors. He placed under doubt the unconditional advantage of processors with ARM architecture in this segment.
On this week John Taylor introduced corrections to his recent ultimate statements. He reported that although at present no negotiations between AMD and ARM are going, the first company does not exclude possibility for cooperation in the future.
