intel company plans to begin in the third quarter the update of proposals in the segment of desktop processors.
In the beginning of third quarter intel will release immediately three chips core i3. Core i 3-2130, operates at 3.4 GHz frequency, which is 100 MHz more than the replaced model core i 3-2120. Chip has two cores with the support to hyper-Threading technology but without Turbo boost. Processor is compatible with LGA 1155, it has 3 Mbytes cache in the third level and will cost $138.
The second chip will become Core i 3-2125. The processor operating frequency is 3.3 GHz (function turbo boost is not provided), as elder model, it has two cores, 3 Mbytes cache and support Hyper-Threading. Processor appears identical to core i 3-2120; however, the built-in graphic core intel HD 3000 with 12 actuating units operates at 850/1100 MHz frequency, while core i 3-2120 has the less productive built-in accelerator, Intel HD 2000 (six actuating units). The standard heat emission is 65 W.
Finally, third processor, Core i 3 -2120T, released for systems of small form factor, its characteristic are similar to the models described above. The processor will cost $127.
Intel plans to add faster Pentium models, which have sandy bridge architecture. Pentium g860 will become the first solution of new generation in this series, which subjugated the barrier 3 GHz. Dual core chip is made on 32 nm standards, has 3 Mbytes cache and built-in graphic core intel HD (850/1100 MHz) with six actuating units. Processor will replace the model Pentium g850.
In the fourth quarter the company plans the release of Pentium g840 (2.8 GHz), model g620 (2.6 GHz) will be substituted by G630 (2.7 GHz). The series Pentium g600 does not support DDR 3-1333 memory, being limited to the maximum frequency 1066 MHz, remaining specifications are identical to g800 series: 3 Mbytes cache, two core and Hyper- threading, intel HD (850/1100 MHz) 6 actuating units and standard heat emission 65 watts.
