Assocaite published the testing results of engineering model Zambezi stepping B1, operating at default frequency 3.2 GHz.
The authors note that the processors is Zambezi stepping B1, and their performance level can grow. The technology Turbo Core 2.0 is working : when all eight cores are loaded the CPU can be overclocked to 500 MHz, and 400 MHz. When Four core it should be 1 GHz - the final CPU speed up to 4.2 GHz.
The processor worked with the GeForce GTX 580, dual channel memory DDR3-1866 4 GB. Test results for eight-processor Zambezi with 3.2 GHz frequency are listed below:
- 3DMark'11: P6265 points;
- Fritz Chess Benchmark: 14 197
- PCMark 7: 3045 points;
- Cinebench R10 (64 bit): 24 434 points (threaded);
- Super Pi (1M): 19,5 seconds;
- x264-Benchmark: 136,29 frames / sec (pass 1), 45.4 frames / sec (pass 2).
From the six-core predecessor, Phenom II X6 1100T , the new processor is ahead in terms of speed by approximately 50%. In 3DMark'11 Core i7-2600K was about P6000 points. If this model will cost a little more than $ 300, it will be able to properly compete with the leading processor of the LGA 1155.
The test results show AIDA64 high speed cache memory.
The result is multi-threaded test Fritz Chess is more than 29,5 X exceeds the base value.
The first pass encoding x264 with an average speed of 136 fps, second - 45 fps.
PCMark7 3045 points.
In the test, 3DMark11 P6265.
