Forensic Appeal Board Patent and Trademark Office United States (UPSTO) finally rejected Apple's attempt to register the trademark Multi-Touch. The original application was filed in 9 January 2007. The Council supported the judge's decision and refused . According to experts in the Patent Office, the word multi has universal significance, since it is widely used to describe the technology of touch screens in phones, tablets and laptops with the operating system Android. Moreover, the word multi refers not only technology, but also describes how the user works with the device. | ||
