A month ago, we reported how liquid helium and a selected processors were able to reach the frequency 8.4 GHz (Using AMD Zambezi), which is an absolute record. Using the more common liquid nitrogen as a coolant allows us to overcome 8.0 GHz. The well-known Asian overclocker Hicookie , used the engineering model FX-8150 and sucessfully overclock it to 8030 GHz under liquid nitrogen at minus 192 degrees Celsius.
