Acer representatives report : the company is not going to stop the release of netbooks, following the example of Samsung .  As it turns out, the demand for netbooks is high in developing countries like India and Indonesia, where they are popular as students computer . The capacity of this market segment allows Acer to speak with confidence about the need for continued release of netbooks. Atom processors,  next generation (Cedarview), according to forecasts of Acer Representatives, will be released in February 2012.  This year, netbooks accounted for 18-20% of Acer  product supply volume , the company believes it possible to maintain profitability due to economies scale.  In the future, the netbook market will be divided between Acer and Asus.  The company had to raise the price of netbooks because of higher cost of hard drives that are used in most devices in this category.
