Intel Division, in charge of motherboards development released two original devices DX79SI and DX79TO in November, and presented only the first. DX79SI is priced at $ 300 and represents an average sample motherboard based on chipset Intel X79. DX79TO will be a simplified version of the previous decision.  The changes affect the number of slots PCI Express x16, which are only two ( DX79SI has three of them), the space occupied by PCI Express x1. Eight audio was replaced by a six-channel, SPDIF disappeared . From the two connectors LAN kept only one. The motherboard has only two ports USB 3.0. DX79TO retained eight DIMM slots and supports up to 64GB of RAM. Voltage regulator module has also undergone simplification, and the cooling system radiators lost heat pipe. Related Products : | ||
