In the last few weeks we have learned a lot about new processors, Ivy Bridge .Intel, officially reported about the performance of two different generations of top CPU: Core i7-3770K and Core i7-2600K. Assocaite tested the high end CPU Intel Core i7-3770K and Core i7-2700K in popular programs as Fritz Chess, CineBench R11.5 and 3D Mark 06.
The difference between processors performance in all three tests is small. Thus, the result of Core i7-3770K in CineBench R11.5 exceeded Core i7-2700K vt 5.91%, in Fritz Chess - 2%, and in 3D Mark 06 (CPU) - 2.41%.
Core i7-3770K has four processing cores, 8 MB cache memory and GPU Intel HD 4000, working in the frequency range from 650 to 1150 MHz. Rated speed os 3,5 GHz, maximum - 3.9 GHz. Intel Core i7-2700K has the same frequency, the same amount of cache memory, the same four cores. However, Core i7-2700K is equipped with a different GPU - Intel HD 3000, which is rated at frequency - 850 MHz, maximum - 1350 MHz.
We should also take in account the difference in TDP, which in on the side of Core i7-3770K: 77 W versus 95 W for Core i7-2700K.
