This week-cryogenic masters were able to set two new world records for the different models of Ivy Bridge processors.
In particular, to cool the processor Core i7-3770K helium liquid was used, and was able to overclock it to 7136 MHz. This is an absolute record of frequency for all Ivy Bridge processors!
The experiment used a motherboard ASRock Z77 OC Formula, Radeon HD 4350 graphics card and dual-channel memory kit G.Skill volume of 2 x 2GB with timings 8-11-7-28.
Estonian overclocker Kaidtor succeeded with Core i5-3570K , overclocking it under liquid nitrogen to 7017 MHz. As in the previous case, only one core was active. The motherboard was Asus Maximus V Extreme with chipset-based on Intel Z77, GeForce GTX 465 and dual channel memory kit G.Skill volume of 2 x 4 GB with 10-12-12-31 timings. Related Products :
