Transcend Information (Transcend) company introduced SSD SSD500. Its important special feature is its use of flash memory such as SLC NAND. It is possible to obtain high performance and greater durability. The company believes that the combination of these two parameters makes SSD500 ideal for applications in mission-critical tasks. Compared with MLC, SLC memory is characterized by more than ten times durability of cells (measured as the number of write cycles). SLC can withstand 100,000 cycles record. The claimed top speed in read mode is 260 MB / s in write mode - 230 MB / sec. The new drive size 2.5 inches comes in three versions - 16, 32 and 64 GB. | ||
