The Taiwanese company Transcend Information, produces memory modules, storage devices based on flash memory, external drives, etc., announced sales in Europe of SSD-drive models SSD500. Â The SSD is based on SLC (single-level cell) NAND Flash memory chips, has a 2.5-inch form factor and uses SATA 3.0 Gbps interface connection.
