During the quarter, Intel plans to release first processors Xeon E5 LGA 2011. Then, in the second quarter will be released the solutions series E5-2400 in LGA 1356.
E5-2400 Chips can operate in single-and dual-processor configuration supports only three memory channels and only one channel bus QPI. Entry-level processors, E5-2403 E5-2407 and received four processing cores without support Hyper-Threading technology and 10 MB cache in the third level. Solutions are estimated at $ 192 and $ 250 respectively.
Six-core processors E5-2400 will be priced from $ 300 to $ 900, will support Hyper-Threading and an additional 5 MB of L3 cache. It should be noted that the cost of these solutions will be close to LGA 2011: Xeon E5-2620, E5-2630, E5-2630L and E5-2640.
The most expensive processor in the series, E5-2470, will be offered for $ 1440. For this amount the buyer will receive eight cores and 20MB L3 cache.
