Past Intel and NVIDIA initiatives to accelerate the construction of images using ray tracing are rarely mentioned , and the concept of Larrabee is now increasingly focused on accelerating calculations.  Back in 2009 the young company Caustic Graphics has promised for years to market a hardware accelerator for ray tracing Last year Caustic Graphics Imagination Technologies company created a hardware accelerator for ray tracing .  A special expansion card to enter the market in the second half this year.  It is expected that this decision will build realistic images using ray tracing in real time.
