Western Digital Corp. has released a new generation of portable hard drives My Passport.  Drives, the capacity is now up to 2 TB , which can be considered among the most spacious compact solutions. Drives are offered in five colors: white, black, silver, blue and red.  The dimensions of devices are always 111 x 82 mm and the thickness and weight vary depending on the volume: 500 GB - 15 mm and 138 g, 750 GB and 1 TB - 19 mm and 194 g, 2 TB - 21 mm and 230 g respectively. For high-speed data transfer it uses USB 3.0 interface.  The company completes drives with utilities WD SmartWare and WD Security, which are designed to backup, password protection and hardware encryption.
