At 9:00 am Pacific Time, Intel officially released the processors Intel Core third generation, also known as Ivy Bridge. Asscocaite managed to find information about upcoming updates to the third-generation Sandy Bridge.
The processors are entry-level product lines and belong to Pentium and Celeron. Details of the models were seen in the database MDDS (Material Declaration Data Sheets).
The first mention of Celeron G550 model appeared in November. This chip will be sold along with senior representatives of the generation Ivy Bridge, at least until the fourth quarter of this year when Intel will refresh range of media brand Celeron models, made on 22 nm technology. On Pentium G870, we reported last month, while the model Pentium G640 and Pentium G640T have been so far unknown.
Both processors contain two processing cores, the frequency of first processor is 2.8 GHz, there is 3 MB third cache level and TDP, equal to 65 watts. Pentium G640T has the same amount of L3 cache, but it operates at a frequency of 2.4 GHz at 35 watts heat dissipation.
Cost of Celeron G550 is $ 52, Pentium G640 is available at $ 64, Pentium G870 is estimated by the manufacturer at $ 86. All of these processors should be available for sale on 3 June. Related Products :
