Hitachi Global Storage Technologies Company, which become a part of Western Digital, released a new series of hard drives CinemaStar. Drives are made in the body size 2.5 inches, intended for use in a variety of consumer electronics.
Model CinemaStar Z7K500, exists in versions with 250, 320 and 500 GB SATA interface and is characterized by support for 6 Gb / s and 7200 rpm.
The closest relative of the previous model was the hard drive CinemaStar Z5K500, also produced in versions with a capacity 250, 320 and 500 GB.
Finally, CinemaStar C5K1000 use a greater thickness (9.5 mm), but it can hold more data - 640, 750, or 1,000 gigabytes, depending on the version. The motor is running at 5400 rpm and has a low noise level.
