Late last month, HP leadership made a decision on the reduction to 8% of staff in absolute terms, which corresponds to 25-27 thousand people.
HP will not release any subdivisions. The internal organizational structure of the company, however, may be reviewed in one degree or another. Marketing policy will be changed - HP wants to more clearly assert itself.
One of the important steps to reduce costs will be the optimization of product mix, will be simplified. For each market segment HP will produce a specific set of products that will keep it under a stock of accessories and parts, sales planning and logistics at this point is also simplified.
