The appearance of motherboards equipped with mSATA is the cause of increasing consumer interest in the respective storage devices. Thus, ADATA company introduced a pair of solid-state drives for use in mSATA connection , which are designed primarily for use as caching SSD. Model XPG SX300 supports SATA interface with data transfer rate 6 Gb / s. The drive is available in versions with a capacity of 64, 128 and 256 GB, claimed read speed of serial data block is 550 Mbytes / s over the same period of time SSD is able to write 505 MB of information. With random blocks of 4 Kbyte device performs up to 85,000 I / Os per second (IOPS).  The second SSD, Premier Pro SP300, limited to SATA 3Gb / s, which is naturally reflected in the performance characteristics: speed up to 280 MB / s and 260 Mb / s in sequential read and write, respectively, up to 46,000 IOPS when dealing with arbitrary data blocks .
