Sharkoon company released directly two attached storage (DAS), which focused not only on offices and small businesses, but also home use.  Both devices are made with steel casing in black and rely on the possibility of  USB 3.0 interface and eSATA ports with a throughput of 3 Gbits / s. Model 5-Bay RAID Station could host five storage size 3.5 or 2.5 inches with interface SATA.  Supports configuration of RAID Clean, Large, Clone, 0, 1, 3, 5 and 10 and the automatic recovery of hot replacement drive.  Dimensions of DAS are 282 x 150 x 215 mm, the power of regular power supply is 250 watts.    8-Bay RAID Station contains 3 more drive, and the list of supported RAID modes are Clean, Large, 00, 30 and 50.  The device is equipped with a power supply rated at 300 watts.   Cost of 5-Bay RAID Station is € 199 for 8-Bay RAID Station € 329. Related Products : | ||
