Next year, AMD will begin shipping processors that support the technology developed by ARM TrustZone .   The head of AMD ,Rory Reid ,admitted that ARM will take time to get any significant market share in consumer PCs.  Performance of x86-compatible solutions and their compatibility with the familiar infrastructure and affordability will allow them to  preserve for long a dominant position in the segment.  At the same time Reid believes that ARM will advance significantly in the PC market, but it will happen no earlier than in three years.
