Next year, AMD will begin shipping processors that support the technology developed by ARM TrustZone .
The head of AMD ,Rory Reid ,admitted that ARM will take time to get any significant market share in consumer PCs. Performance of x86-compatible solutions and their compatibility with the familiar infrastructure and affordability will allow them to preserve for long a dominant position in the segment. At the same time Reid believes that ARM will advance significantly in the PC market, but it will happen no earlier than in three years. Related Products :
