GIGABYTE started selling in the Japanese market its new graphics cards based on the graphic chip AMD Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition : GV-R797TO-3GD. New card has a blue PCB , uses high quality components Ultra Durable VGA, original factory overclocking and high performance cooling system. GV-R797TO-3GD is based on 28-nm GPU Tahiti 2 (micro-Graphics Core Next), which includes 2048 stream processors, 128 texture units, 32 raster operations unit. Frequency for the GPU and memory is as follows: 1050 MHz (high - 1100 MHz) / 1500 MHz (effective - 6000 MHz). Video memory is a standard 3 GB GDDR5 384-bit access. The cooling system WindForce 3X consists of three 80-mm low noise fan, three 8mm copper heat pipes and a massive two-part aluminum heatsink. This card has standard support for DirectX 11.1 and OpenGL 4.2, as well as proprietary technologies from AMD: Steady Video 2.0, Eyefinity 2.0, CrossFireX and ZeroCore Power. The cost of GIGABYTE GV-R797TO-3GD is approximately $ 634. | ||
