Representatives of Acer already repeatedly asked Microsoft to refrain from entering the Tablet PC market as an independent player. It is assumed that Acer will be allowed to work with this platform only in January 2013 , while other large handset manufacturers will be able to submit their tablet on Windows RT in this year.
The General Director Jim Van Acer (JT Wang) once again has called Microsoft to think twice about the advisability of its own tablets. This Microsoft step , according to Acer head , will create a huge negative effect on the entire ecosystem, and other trademarks may be affected.
If Microsoft does not listen to Acer persistent advice , the last company may consider changing to another software partner.
Note that Microsoft is perfectly aware of the risks which partners will face after entering the market with tablets Surface. Ignoring Acer interests , Microsoft has lost one of the partners - though not so strong in the segment of tablet to really make a difference.
