AMD has intentions to present this year 65 nm sempron processors , known to us under code name sparta. As it became known, these processors will appear in the third quarter 2007. At our disposal proved to be the reliable data about the characteristics of these processors and their announcement periods ; therefore we propose to supplement the existing information:
- Sempron LE-1300 - > 2.3 GHz, 512 KB cache in the second level, Socket AM2, system bus frequency HT 1.0 is equal to 1600 MHz, TDP=45 W, September 2007;
- Sempron LE-1250 - > 2.2 GHz, 512 KB cache in the second level, Socket AM2, system bus frequency HT 1.0 is equal to 1600 MHz, TDP=45 W, September 2007;
- Sempron LE-1200 - > 2.1 GHz, 512 KB cache in the second level, Socket AM2, system bus frequency HT 1.0 is equal to 1600 MHz, TDP=45 W, September 2007;
- Sempron LE-1150 - > 2.0 GHz, 256 KB cache in the second level, Socket AM2, system bus frequency HT 1.0 is equal to 1600 MHz, TDP=45 W, September 2007;
- Sempron LE-1100 - > 1.9 GHz, 256 KB cache in the second level, Socket AM2, system bus frequency HT 1.0 is equal to 1600 MHz, TDP=45 W, September 2007.
All processors from this series will support DDR-2 memory , the more detailed possibilities of memory controller are not revealed. According to the announcement graph , all five models will be presented during September 2007. Two last model, LE-1150 and LE-1100, will have only 256 KB cache in the second level, they will be supplied for the developing markets.
During June AMD will present the dual core version of brisbane processors with the level TDP not more than 45 W, they will obtain the following designations: Athlon 64 X2 BE -2350 (2.1 GHz, 2 X 512 KB cache) and Athlon 64 X2 BE -2300 (1.9 GHz, 2 X 512 KB cache). During August will be announced the processor athlon 64 X2 BE -2400 (2.3 GHz, 2 X 512 KB cache).
Already in the fourth quarter 2007 , 65 nm processors sempron core sparta will completely replace 90 nm predecessors on core manila; however, the deliveries of this last will be prolonged to the second quarter 2008. Related Products :
