AMD representatives reported that hybrid Hondo tablets processors in the first place will be optimized to work with Windows 8. AMD just believe that Windows-tablets are more receptive in the market. And only in the long term AMD processors receive the necessary infrastructure to serve on the tablet running Android.
Indeed, AMD may have sufficient reasons for such decision. Android-tablet market is flooded and device running on Windows 8 are mainly based on Intel processors . Offering efficient processors with graphics performance, AMD expects to take some customers. AMD processors can also work on Linux.
