SK Hynix company recently reported about memory type DDR3L-RS . Now Micron company, started to produce similar memory chips DDR3L-RS on 30 nm, but was able to get to first Intel memory compatibility certificate , confirming the ability of the memory function in the Platform Chief River. In other words, Intel partners can use DDR3L-RS memory in the production of ultrabook generation processors based on Ivy Bridge.
While Micron supplies DDR3L-RS memory in chips density of 2 and 4 Gbps by December will begin deliveries of memory chips in the density of 8 Gbps. With its low power consumption at rest, this memory reveals its advantage in tablets and ultrabooks. Already in early 2013, Micron intends to present DDR4-RS memory chip . Related Products :
