Outstanding results achieved scientists from the University of Massachusetts and the University of Colorado .Mathematician Robert Kusner and Smalyuh physicist Ivan found regularities in the formation of images in liquid crystals how to manage them.  In their experiments, the researchers obtained colloidal solutions in which tiny particles of different shapes were introduced in the liquid crystals.  The interaction of crystal particles held in strict accordance with the calculations of scientists, based on fundamental topological theorems.
