OLPC products was originally offered in a strict color: white color combined with green elements.  It turns out that this color has a story, as explains OLPC founder Nicholas Negroponte in an interview .  In 2005, when he worked on the first prototype of a student laptop for $ 100, Negroponte visited Nigeria on a business trip.  The project was presented to the President of Nigeria, who has expressed his delight with one word - charming.  This inspired Negroponte, and after six months the first OLPC laptop was ready for mass production. In appreciation Negroponte decided to paint OLPC products in the colors of the national Nigeria flag   - white and green.  Although now OLPC is not directly involved in production of tablets, preferring to focus on the traditional student laptops, its licensees developments also follow the traditions in the case color design.     Related Products :
