NEC computers declared about new notebook models : VERSA s970, which are based on the recently announced platform Intel centrino pro.  Besides the contemporary design, NEC VERSA s970 are characterized by new technologies. Nec used here the platform intel centrino pro and processors intel core 2 Duo. Furthermore, this model is equipped with TPM module , two BIOS password level . NEC instant recovery will ensure data safety . This function will allow users to restore the notebook state in the case of operating system crash . NEC ECO is new energy savings technology, It is accessible in all models series VERSA and allow to increase the notebook operation time to 9 hours ( in case of 12- cell battery). NEC VERSA s970 have built-in card reader 4- in -1, 3 port USB, 14 inch WXGA monitor, wireless connection wi-Fi 802.11n. It has the processors series T7XXX (Intel core2 duo) and chipset intel GM965, with 1 Gb memory (turbo memory). As Hard disk NEC used 120- Gb SATA- disk.
