According to intel Plans , the portion of chipsets intel series 3, to the end of the current block will compose 15%, then the expansion rates of  these chipset will grow.  Intel will accelerate passage from chipsets series x965 to series x3x. After the announcement of chipsets Intel x38, Intel g35 and Intel g31 in the third quarter , the portion of this chipsets will reach 38%. The announcement of chipset intel x38 will take place during September, according to Computex by 2007 data . ( but not during July, as it was considered earlier ). The portion of chipsets x965, in the third quarter will be lowered by 10%. Their place will occupied by chipset intel 945GC, which support dual core processors core 2 Duo with 1333 MHz system bus. In the end of the current block , the portion of this processor will compose 50%, in the following block it will be lowered to 38%. Simultaneously this chipset will fall in price from $29 to $25. In autumn , on the market will appear a sufficient number of new motherboards on base of chipsets series 3, which will officially support the 1333 MHz system bus, and in some cases they will propose support to DDR- 3 memory . The overclocking potential in these motherboards will not be lower than in predecessors; therefore for those thinking about upgrade we would advise to look for mainboard on base of chipsets intel p35 and Intel x38.
