Haswell microarchitecture will be presented from 27 May to 9 June.  At about the same time, the company has significantly expanded its line of  Xeon Phi accelerators Commercial supplies of Intel Xeon Phi, accelerators as we reported, was launched in November last year.  Besides the two specialized versions of accelerators in general availability, appeared one single model - Xeon Phi 5110P.  In the first half of 2013 the company promised to extend the series to a younger version model Xeon Phi 3100.  As Intel plans  , updated lineup may be more significant.  Thus, in the period from May to July, the company expects to present models Xeon Phi 5120D, 3120A, 3120P, 7120P and 7120X.  All of them, will be much faster than Xeon Phi 3100, in which the operations speed in double precision is more than 1 teraflops.   From the expected in the first half  Intel Xeon Phi accelerators we known only about series 3100.  Their TDP not exceed 300 watts and peak performance in the double-precision operations, tipped the scales at 1 teraflops.  The volume of on-board memory Xeon Phi 3100 will be equal to 6 GB bandwidth - 240 GB / s.  Price $ 2,000.  By comparison, Intel Xeon Phi 5110P consists of 60 cores.  The amount of memory in the model 5110P - 8 GB bandwidth - 320 GB / s, TDP - 225 w , Cost - $ 2649.  This accelerator has already managed to get in a number of supercomputers, where up to 40 of the top 500 most productive systems.
