According to forecasts, the capacity of the tablet market in 2014 will reach 282.8 million units in 2015, this figure will increase to 327.5 million.  The share of tablets running Windows 8 will account for about 13% and 16% of the total, respectively, the remaining parts will share Apple and Android.  Atom processors are used in about 75% of the tablet with Windows 8, and almost 8% - from Android. Together, on Atom  will be based 36 million tablets in 2014 and 50.2 million - in 2015, at an average cost of the processor is equal to $ 20, based on revenues of $ 722 million and $ 1 billion, respectively. If the implementation of each Atom processor maker gets 50% of its value in the form of net profit, then eventually it will bring an extra 5 cents per share in 2014 and 6 cents - in 2015.  In this regard, the expert believes that greater financial significance for Intel processors have Haswell and devices like ultrabooks and transforming computers based on them.  Moore also believes that the expansion of the tablets market running Android for Intel will be more difficult than the development of Windows 8 niche.
